In the area of teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, the concept of situational teaching is still relatively new. Although in the actual classroom teaching, teachers often use contextual design to aid teaching, specific principles and the implementation has not yet been paid more attention.It's worthy of further study.The situation is designed to achieve the teaching objectives better in the teaching process,the teacher design the specific and vivid language learning environment according to the situational teaching principles and the actual classroom situation to help students understand the course content master the knowledge and ability. This thesis just selects "the method of contextual design "as its research content,analyses6cases with the case analyses method which are transferred from the Chinese class of6grade in Watraikhing Wittaya international standard school of Thailand.Then summarize some method of contextual design and draw the following conclusions:Extensive use of the Contextual Design method in the Chinese classroom teaching has achieved a certain effect, but there are some problems in the specific implementation process.Such as teachers lack rational understanding of what is contextual design,how to design is the most reasonable;the design are basically one-way activity which is from teacher to students, the interaction is not strong.The main reason is that teachers lack of a comprehensive theory of scientific knowledge and practice of teaching ability. Teachers should be improved from the following aspects:To improve the situational teaching theoretical knowledge and ability to use contextual teaching; use the method of contextual design flexible andintegrated;pay more attention to the subjective status of students, balance the using of contextual design.
