Peers play an important and irreplaceable role in the process of socialization ofchildren. With the development of inclusive education, the peer relationships betweengeneral children and children with disabilities become the focus of researchers. As apart of the peer relationships,peer acceptance can directly impact on the adaptation ininclusive classes, learning outcomes of children with disabilities. General children canaccept the children with disabilities or not will directly affect their self-concept, socialcognition, social adaptation capacity and communication skills.In the process ofsocialization, children's early experience on attitude formation and change is veryimportant, and so the early inclusive education is payed more attention. In the earlyinclusive education,it is important for general children to construct corrective perceptionof the children children with disabilities,so that formed acceptive, Inclusive andrespective feelings and attitudes gradually.The purpose of this study was to assess the effects of the picture story bookinstruction on general children' attitude of acceptance toward children with disabilitiesin an ordinary preschool class,and promoting the interaction between general childrenand children with disabilities was also discussed in the study.This study employed anaction research method mainly,and the picture story book instruction was implementedfor general children as the teaching approach in this action research, meanwhileSingle-group pre-posttest quasi-experimental design was employed.The data of "theGeneral Children's Attitude Towards the Children with Disabilities Scale" pretest andposttest, observed recordings of chilren's interaction,interviews of children,teachers andparents,and the researcher's self-evalustion were collected prior and after implementedinstruction for cross-reference verification.The results showed that, the picture storybook instruction has a positive impact on general children's attitude towards thechildren with disabilities in the three dimensions of cognitive, emotional, behavioral.Specific conclusions was discussed from the design and implementation of the picturestory book instruction and the impaction on general children two:①the design and implementation of the picture story book instruction 1) The picture book is a good media to help children correctly understanding of thedisabled;2) Sharing and discussing is a better learning method for general children toconstruct corrective understanding of the disabled;3) Emphasis on teachers' modeling and guiding;4) The additional activities can deepen the positive affect on the disabled.②the impaction on general children1) can construct the correct cognition on the disabled for general children;2) can promote general children's attitude towards children with disabilities;3) can promote positive interaction to the peers with disabilities for generalchildren;4) can inspire the care, respect and tolerance of general children toward the peerswith disabilities;5) can improve the adaptability of children with disabilities in class and get a goodpeer relationships.
