This thesis bases on the Harvey's work'the space of hope ", and focus on the three key words:globalization, body, and dialectical utopia. On the one hand, we treat Harvey's theory with a historical perspective, highlight the new connotations through the introductions and analysis of the concepts. On the other hand, try to explore the theoretical association between the three key words, and arrange a complete theoretical system to clarify the significance of Harvey's book. The article expands as follows:the first chapter gives a brief introduction of the thesis's significance and structural arrangements. In the second chapter, we consider the first key word, analyze the concept of globalization, search the association between the key words, and reveal the paradox of the capital in the production of space-be the driving force of globalization, but also becomes obstacles of the development. The third chapter undertakes the second part, and describes the imbalance in the level of body, in order to understand the relationship between capital and individual, and reveal the another paradox of the capital from the perspective of the body-be the promoter in the aspects of production and consumption, but also be the place of resistance. Chapter IV of the article focus on Utopia, elucidates the two different forms of utopia in Harvey's opinion, highlights the thought of dialectical utopia with the introduction of Edilia and refines the notable features of the dialectical utopia. In the last section, author revolves the link between the three concepts, clarifies the rational association between these words, reveals that globalization and body both point to a better possibility of achieving the dialectical utopia from different levels. In the end, we give a positive evaluation of Harvey's theoretical efforts based on the better possibility, and consider this as the starting point to think about the difficulties of development in China. The thorough interpretation of the key words is in favor of grasping the whole book, Harvey's critique and struggle are not only a continuance of the Marxist tradition, but also a revelation of reality. Harvey's book can provide a valuable reference for Chinese-style path of development.
