The paper mainly researches on how to cultivate senior high school students' self-esteem from teachers'perspective. There are many factors that can affect senior high school students'self-esteem, including family, society, individual, school, peers, teachers, etc. The paper is trying to find efficient methods to cultivate senior high school students'self-esteem from teachers' perspective, so the students' can form a good self-esteem, healthy personality and mental health.Self-esteem is the premise of individual's health personality, and is the foundation of individual's mental health. In order to do a good senior high school students' mental health education, it is essential to improve senior high school students' self-esteem. The teachers who have much effect on the students are an essential factor of cultivating students' self-esteem. During the teachers' contact with the senior high school students, these factors including the teachers' personality, attitude, verbal expression, relationship between the teachers and the students, expectation to the students, etc. have effect on students. The author mainly through two research methods, just for questionnaire and interviews, the research shows that in order to cultivate senior high school students' self-esteem, the teachers should do as follows: love and care for each student; proper verbal expression is the external origin for a students'self-esteem; build a harmonious relationship between teachers and students, the teachers should treat each student equally; give the students good teachers'expectations. The teachers should improve their self-esteem, so that they can have a good effect on students. Promoting the students' all-round development, giving students diversified and a full range of education evaluations, and finding the students' strong points. Finally, the teachers should change the students'cognition, promote the improvement of the students' self quality and make the students' correctly evaluate themselves. |
