Self梕steem is the core of self field which has been studied frequently in psychology and education. The present investigation is to explore the characteristics of the self? esteem and the relationships among the self梕steem, achievement, mental hea[th.885 senior high school students were assessed by the Coopersmi th 311 ~ SCL?0 ~ Sell梐dapted self梕steem survey questionnaire in Suzhou. The results indicated: self梕steem of different grades and schools are significantly different. The level of grade 2 students?self? esteem is lower than others, and their gender is significantly different, the relations between the level of self梕steem and mental health have different effect. Self? esteem has become the mediation variance of the mental health. The self梕steem has impact, on the relation between achievement and mental health.
