In the modern society, competition of science and technology between countries all over the world is the talent competition. The prosperity of a country in science and technology depends on a lot of creative talents. In China, all walks of life are strongly advocate the spirit of innovation, and strive to foster creativity. As a result, more psychological study on creativity is particularly necessary. Due to a variety of reasons, such as historical and geographical reasons, the ethnic minority areas in China are under development. There will inevitably have some deep-rooted stereotypes of minority compatriots. With the developments of modern society, these stereotypes are not fully reflecting the real situation of minority compatriots.In a series of studies, participants are180students and80teachers from two junior high schools in Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture of Hunan Province. Questionnaires and Implicit Association Test on computers were used to test the artistic creativity of Miao and Han nationality junior high school students, the evaluation of teachers and students about others'artistic creativity, as well as all participants'implicit stereotype on the nationality-artistic creativity. The main results are as follows:1. Through the Implicit Association Test, implicit stereotypes had been found. Students who were Miao nationality thought that they had higher artistic creativity than Han nationality; similarly Han students thought Han's artistic creativity was higher than the Miao's.2. From the view of the settlements, the students of Miao settlements thought that Han's artistic creativity was higher than the Miao's; students of Han settlements thought that Miao's artistic creativity was higher than the Han's. The students of Miao settlements had lower artistic creativity than students of Han settlements. However, students of Miao settlements gave higher scores than students of Han settlements in the evaluation about others'artistic creativity.3. The implicit stereotypes of students in different ages were as follows:12-year-old students tend to think that Miao nationality had higher artistic creativity.13-year-old students had lower implicit stereotype on the nationality-artistic creativity, they also thought that Miao nationality had higher artistic creativity.14-year-old thought that Han nationality had higher artistic creativity. There was a significant difference between students in12and14. The level of students'artistic creativity was continued reduced when they from12to14years old. Students who were14years old had lower artistic creativity than12-year-old students. However, the score of evaluation about others'artistic creativity was increasing from12to14years old.14-year-old students gave higher scores than the12-year-old students.4. There was a negative correlation between all students'artistic creativity and their evaluation on others'artistic creativity.5. All teachers in this study believed that Han's artistic creativity was higher than the Miao's. The senior teachers had significant lower implicit stereotypes than other teachers. There was a negative correlation between teachers'implicit stereotypes and their evaluation on others'artistic creativity.
