In China, when people mention jade they will inevitably have a complex mood, it is about reverence, admiration or mystery. I think this is largely because of the development of Chinese jade exprienment too much time. But in this long histroy the earliest suzhou jade can be traced back to 6,000 years ago in the neolithic syncretization advanced culture. the Suzhou jade curving craft not only has a long history, and skill, after countless skillful craftsman's extraordinary curving skill, suzhou jade curving technology is in the development process of change, and has formed its own charicteristics:", delicate and elegant style."In this paper, I search through the historical documents, the area of suzhou jade carving material, soochaw jade carving factory records , local files on suzhou jade as their heritage in workmanship of data access, and on this basis, I survey on the reason of suzhou jade forming, This paper pays attention to the angle of the suzhou jade carving caftmans consider suzhou traditional carving inherance systerms and the way to improve the carving skill. But as written records of documents is too limited I can only by few datas and the relevant suveys to get the revelant matierials to do some reseach. Based on the status quo of suzhou jade inheritance, and also gives attention to and from the perspective of cultural transformation theory on the depth of the existing conditions in contemporary society and many changes.In this paper, I not only advocate the development the inheritance of suzhou jade, but also advocate the protection of the jade curving art cultural heritage. Finally in order protect the suzhou jade carving skill as non-material cultural heritage, I come up with some considerate proposals.
