Suzhou's Economic Recovery And Social Reconstruction During The Military Control Period (1949-1952)

A historically strategic transition in the Party's history is the working focus from the rural areas to the cities, The Chinese Communist Party's taking-over is the microcosm of the historic transformation. On the basis of taking-over city policies , the thesis is meant to study on the theories and practices of the Parties taking-over in a comprehensive way ,it has vital significance on the study of theories and practices of taking-over of the city of the Party. In the process ,The Party has accumulated abundance experiences, these experiences has great reference meanings to our socialist modernization.Suzhou, as the paradise of our country, it is a very important city during the KMT's rule. Suzhou's taking-over is an important part of the Party's taking-over work. At present, the study of suzhou's taking-over is very inadequate, it was only mentioned in some local history books, it is necessary to research this subject in a systematic way.This paper reviewed the evolution of Taking-over policy of our Party, then expound the preparing of the taking-over work of Suzhou; in the second part, described the political taking-over of Suzhou, including destroy the old regime, and the establishment of people's regime; in the last part, the thesis discusses the economic taking-over and makes summary of experience of the taking-over work.
