The Research Of The Influence Of Citizen Consciousness On Enterprise Citizen Construction

Born in the 20th century in American society, the idea of enterprise social responsibility is the necessary outcome of economic development. There are two reasons for this result. The first one is the establishment of modern enterprise system, which led to the separation of owner right and management right and bred "manager capitalism" becoming a tough opponent of challenging the maximum profit principle. The second reason is the appearance of corporations that results in the power expansion whose social responsibility becomes problems of attention."Enterprise Citizen" was born at the beginning of the century. It's a new concept based on a deep research and broad practice on the idea of enterprise social responsibility and a renovation on recognition of enterprise nature. Enterprise citizen has a relatively more meaning and accuracy in reflecting the role enterprises play in social life. Although it's an imported concept, it's also true in our country that the idea of enterprise social responsibility comes before enterprise citizen. Theoretic study and practices regarding this concept have made great progress under the background of economic system reform.Chapter One first summarizes the research abroad and states the meaning, purpose, current status, method and innovations of the research. Chapter Two summarizes the construction of enterprise citizen in China, including achievements, problems and direction.
