Study On The Political And Ideological Education Of The Socialist New Countryside Construction

During the Sixteenth Plenary Session of the Fifth CPC Central Committee, the CPC put forward the scheme of building new socialist countryside according to the general requirements of enhanced productive forces, higher living standards, civilized living style, orderly and clean environment and democratic administration. The construction of such countryside calls for new type of farmers. It will play an important role in promoting the rural economic and spiritual civilization development to strengthen the ideological and political education for farmers and to foster new type of farmers who are moral, educated, skilled and capable of business management.Taking Chinese farmers' ideological and political awareness as study object, and adopting the methods of literature study, comparison analysis and systematic analysis, the author generalizes the advanced experience of peasant education in developed countries, demonstrates the interrelationship between rural economy and farmers' ideological and political education, summerizes China's ideological and political education for farmers in recent years, analyses the existing problems in China's farmer education during the construction of new socialist countryside, and deeply studies the situation and tasks of China's ideological and political education for peasants.On the basis of the above study, the author puts forward specific countermeasures to strengthen, promote, improve and innovate China's ideological and political education for peasants. In order to comprehensively enhance farmers' ideological and political quality and scientific and cultural level, and for the purpose of providing reliable intelligence and talent support for China's construction of new socialist countryside, the contents of farmer education should be highlighted, the educational methods should be appropriate, and the organizational system of education should be improved.
