The Development And The Prospect Of China's Grassroots-level Democracy

In the west ,the practice and the theories of democracy have been abundant since hundreds years ago . The democracy of capitalism has been developed,copied and altered so long.To these days ,it has developed various types and forms of implementing democracy.No matter what kind of democracy it is, every one is the unity of generality and speciality. Therefore ,no matter the theories or the practice of democracy are, they could offer high value of reference for our society's democracy development.Having passed through a hard process, the development of the democracy of our society is now on its correc way . Today,we should have more scientic conceptions of developing democracy ,which lead the democracy development. Being pushed by historic mainstream ,the grassroots-level democracy is developing ahead,which give a platform to the people to enjoy the political righs.Our country's grassroots-level democracy is what has the core of the country grassroots-level autonomy, the city community autonomy and the the building of representatives convention of the unities of enterprises. Originated from the countryside about 30 years ago, the grassroots-level democratic autonomy has gained great achievements,however ,it has many problems to be settled down.All these problems are due to such factors as social system,economic situation and cultural aspects,and they are constraining the grssroots-level democracy development. Therefore,we should adopt corresponding methods to deal with the issues.Apart from following some basic principles and dealing with the grassroots-level political relationship,the most important thing is to strengthen the systematic building ,form a good procedure and go on the way of china's characteristic democracyIn this article, the author outlines the development theories and practice of the west democracy ,pointing out its positive and negative aspects,and specifying the more advanced conceptions of democracy and the development of politics.Afterwards,having looked back on the path of china's grassroots-level democracy,the author inquire into the democracy theories and the practical process and put forward the personally view points on the issues.
