Aging of population structure has been an inevitable global trend in the 21st century. Both the psychological health and physical health are issues of great importance to the elders. Subjective well-being, one of the most important psychological parameters reflecting the elders'quality of life, is a hot spot in the positive psychology fields. As an unusual group, Retired officers attract many researchers'eyes. To investigate the relationship of Retired officers mental health and the countermeasures against it in qinzhuo ;and further to analyze its influential factors.The purpose is to offer some evidence for the govermment and social organization in making Retired officers.It is a meaningful topic no matter for officers,society ,familty or Retired officers. four hundred and ninty four Retired officers were assessed. Investigation tools were adopted questionnaire:1.Questionnair of General Life.2.SCL-90 and 3.MUNSH(Mimorial University of Newfoundland scale of Happiness). Statistical analysis was performed with SPSS14.0 professional statistical software, including descriptive statistics, independent samples t-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis, multiple linear regressions analysis, multivarinte regression analysis and path analysis. The results were listed as follows:1.Most of Retired officers in qinzhou felt happy in their lives;2.The score of positive emotion and affective are higher than the score of negative emotion and affective ,thesd results shows that the Retired officers are satisfied their later lives.3.Age,number of children ,marital status ,economicstatus,culturestatus,people relationship had correlation with Retired officers health except sex and occupation.4.They had coefficients relation between the scores on both scales (scl-90,MUNSH).Itindicated that the score of Well-being will directly influence the result of Retired officers mental health.
