Chinese Blue Barriers To Trade Legal Issues Research

The blue trade barrier is one of the various forms of new non-tariff trade barriers, it is a trade measure which is taken on the pretext of protecting the labor right and work environment. The blue trade barrier is derived from social terms, and its typical representative is SA8000 standards. The developed countries use the blue trade barrier to proclaim to protect the rights and interests of workers, and so as to restrain the export of the developing countries. Enterprises of China which is a big trading country are almost labor-intensive. Because of the economic and historical reasons, there is a low labor standard in our country. But facing the blue trade barrier placed by the developed countries, first of all we should be aware of our disadvantage, and then quicken the development of all respects. There are some reasons for China's undergoing the blue trade barrier; this article focuses on the angle of law. This paper includes four parts. Chapter one is a brief introduction to the blue trade barrier: concept, characteristics, etc; chapter two analyzes the status quo of the blue barrier been undergoing by the China, and mainly introduces the double influence of the blue trade barrier; chapter three analyzes the reasons for China's undergoing blue trade barrier from the angle of law; in the fourth chapter, based on the above reasons, I put forward some suggestions and measures.
