Research On Legalassurance Of Women's Decent Work In China

Women's decent work is an important constituent part of decent work, and the realizationof women's rights affects the development and stability of social economy on the whole. Tosafeguard the decent work of women who is a disadvantage group is a social problem whichany country has to face and tries hard to solve. In recent years, with the development ofChina's market economy, the problem of women's employment is getting more and moreaustere; in the mean time, the inequality existed in employment often puts women at adisadvantage in competition. Therefore, we need to establish, perfect and safeguard thesystem of women's decent work according to the standard of decent work, among which legalassurance plays an irreplaceable part in realization of women's decent work. At present, Chinahas promulgated and enacted a series of laws in order to protect female labors'rights andinterests, however, due to the shortcomings of laws and the difficulty in operation, women'srights and interests haven't been protected well fundamentally. Hence, this article will discussthe issue of legal assurance of women's decent work in China, and put forwardcountermeasures and suggestions on perfecting the legal assurance mechanism of women'sdecent work in China.The article has five parts, and it will adopt methods like theoretical analysis, comparativestudy, etc. to put forward my own suggestions on legal assurance of women's decent work inChina. The basic framework and main content of this article is as follows: The first part startsfrom the notion of decent work, and analyzes the notion, characteristics and meaning ofwomen's decent work. The second part compares and analyzes the situation of women'sdecent work in China and international current situation in accordance with the four criterionsof International Labor Organization. The third part summarizes some beneficial experiencethrough extraterritorial investigation towards legal assurance of women's decent work, whichoffers some reference for perfecting legal assurance of women's decent work in China. Thefourth and fifth parts are the key parts of this article. The fourth part concludes some problemsexisted in legal assurance of women's decent work in China, and the fifth part brings forwardcomprehensive and detailed solutions to the problems proposed in the fourth part.
