Research On The Social Security Of China Disabled Persons

With the economic and social development, concern degree of disabled persons who are vulnerable groups in any society. Social security system as the cornerstone of social stability and development is the foundation that every member of society equally participates in social activities; it is also fundamental to the survival of the disadvantage group. Therefore, Social security system for the disabled persons is one of the basic social systems that any government and nation must pay attention to; it is related to the survival and development of these vulnerable members of society, and about the social equity. Since the Founding of New China in 1949, China has been committed to helping this group to solve the survival and development. Although early by the economic level of restrictions, the extent of the vulnerable groups is not high, as China's rapid economic development in last three decades, people's living standards have improved obviously, the more developed coastal areas have lived a more comfortable life, compared to the survival and development of persons with disabilities, it is a big problem, based on this background social security system for the disabled persons is even more worthy of our research and analysis. Social security system for the disabled persons of our nation is in the forward exploration process, there must be many problems. Constant research and practice in theory can make the social security system of people with disabilities perfect, in order to guarantee the survival of people with disabilities, creating opportunities to persons with disabilities for equal participation in social activities. through the twice National Sample Survey on Disability data and a number of field interviews in Chengdu, this paper tries to analysis and to study contemporary China's social security status of persons with disabilities, finding out the problems, providing some effective countermeasures.Based on the theory, first of all, the paper summarize a detailed Literature review to build Solid theoretical points, which tease out the social security of disabled person's classical theory. Secondly, through our country's two national survey data of disabled person, according to qualitative and quantitative research methods, the author will full draw the current situation of the disabled person and social security of disabled person. Then, based on the results of data analysis, the author will find many questions of the social security of disabled person, such as: Institution, implementation etc. Finally, the author will raise countermeasures and suggestions to improve the social security of disabled person, guided by the subject of the Demographic and Management's theory and practice.
