The Problem And Countermeasures Of Present Government Emergency Management

Increasingly happening public affairs is the same issue which all governments around the world are facing no matter it's in developed countries or developing countries. Series of disasters and calamities not only take a great challenge to the people,but also testing the executive ability of the party and government in emergency management. The lose caused by sudden public events every year is amazing in our country.Strengthening emergency management research and construction place a great importance in uprising the ability of our government in dealing with unexpected public events. It's also important for the government to prevent and reduce frequency, quantity and loss of natural disasters, accidents, public health and social security incident, national security in order to ensure safety of people life property and social stability. Whether the government could deal with various kinds of public emergencies in a prompt way becomes the most direct test to the government executive ability and also the evaluation by the citizens. In a sense, the government of state of crisis reflects the government management and service ability rather than in normal management,reflecting the government 's comprehensive management ability. Research on present situation of emergency management system of our government, existing problems and ways to solve those problems is the main issue discussing in this thesis in order to the way which could fundamentally improve the government public emergency management ability.
