The social transformation of modern China has brought immense impact to the young people, also brought great influence to the ways of social operation, such as the construction of ternary interaction among market, government and society, and the more independence of self-development and self-orientation for individuals. In a more open society, the young people, now as an existence of individual, have got rid of the former develop pattern which is under regulate society control, and stayed in a new pattern: social participation.This social participation thought has a key point which emphasizes the focus of development is the human's comprehensive development. Human is the subject of development and only the human's development be strengthened in the process, then such kind of development is sustainable. The process of youth participation actually is the process of youth development, this process helps young people to gain correct guide through communication and interaction with the society. And this process in China also should be put in the range of ideological and political education.The thesis gives a research on how to apply ideological and political education on the process of youth participation, and gives out some conclusions. From the most typical program in modern youth participation, China Youth Voluntary Service, the research analyzes the form and dynamics of youth participation under China society's background and supplies some methods on how to explain the ways of youth participation. Also the research put the focus on how to apply ideological and political education on youth participation, considering why modern China youth take part in social participation is they are under impacted by epochal background, such as social transformation, system transformation, value change, culture change and new technology revolution, which brings our new requirements to current ideological education.Social participation now has become a new section of ideological education. On this education phrase, educator should change the mobilization way from causative to voluntary, the evaluation from awarding to incentive, the management from simple to comprehensive, the training pattern from unitary to multiple, and finally improve the education pattern. Also the research objectively discusses the new requirements of ideological education on youth participation, concluding the object and subject in this education shall have equally interacting not simply teaching like before; the educational philosophy shall be modernized to breed citizenship; the education feedback has been instantly thus the education content also shall be updated constantly; the objects'reasonable personal demands shall be considered and satisfied; the educator should be good at interpret numerous and diverse social phenomenon to enhance the educational effect; and the educational circumstance, the mental of educators shall be open to face the situation of one-value-oriented with multiple-culture-coexistence; supply personalized education to different category of objects in different stage, using specific method on different objects, etc.Some new methods on this process education also be given out in this research, such as enhance practical to access the truth of society in the participation, emphasize emotional education to make a equal relationship through good interpersonal communication, construct self-education to help the educated gain more skills to face social change, promote the model's effect in education to improve the society's consensus and appreciation to good practice which taken by youth participation, innovate the incentives in education to balance the material supplements and spiritual encouragement in youth community service, utilize counselling in education to expand the educators'credibility through correctly explain diverse social phenomenon.The thesis also gives out a discussion on how to divide the ideological education stage in social participation, which are called the stage of information-receiving, stage of willing-prepare, stage of skill-prepare, stage of adaptation, stage of customized and stage of evaluation, and give an overall analyze with the elements of education subject, education aim, objects'mental state, main education tool, etc.
