Notary office is a social organization which provides proof of legal services. Currently, the change of notary industry is under way. The nature of notary public has been the focus of debate. The notary office which is in a controversial environment is growing along with the rapid development of the Chinese market economy. At first, the notary public has the scale of hundreds of people, which has been unprecedented in the notary industry, even in the legal services industry,keeps on springing up. This gives a new topic to both the notary public and managers of notaries public.That is when the original model based on the remuneration of the executive can not implement distribution model, how to distribute jobs, how to reflect the value of employees by pay and how to motivate staff by pay for unit development, which are the problems the notary public managers to pay attention to.A Notary Office in Chengdu is product of the notary industry's pilot reform. Notary Office is established by investment and cooperation of greffiers. In recent years, it has been growing rapidly because of facile mechanism. But, as it establishes for a short time and no experience can be learned after expanding the scale of the industry, there are many problems of salary administration. This article studies and researches this notary office by analysising the problems of salary administration of it.This article combs out the theory of salary administration, and in-depth analysis of the problems of salary administration of this notary office by the methods of rsearch, in-depth interviews, questionnaire survey and so on. At the same time, to provide reference for salary administration of the notary industry,this article combines notary industry's characteristics, uses the method of salary administration and builds a scientific and rational salary system consistenting with the characteristics of the industry by Job analysis, evaluation, and combining with external remuneration conditions.
