The country's total proved reserves of 1/3, the province's coal-bearing area of 57,000 square kilometers, accounting for 37% of the province's land area, there are 1,500 smallest multi-kilometers, the province's coal reserves are forecast up to 8,700 million tons. After years of development and construction, the coal industry in Shanxi Province has become the pillar industry of the province's economic and social development plays an important supporting role. In recent years, although the coal market improved, but the Shanxi coal mine production safety accidents preached high, multiple posture of major gas explosions, floods and other accidents have occurred, to the country and the people's lives and property caused significant losses. Behind these incidents have a number of reasons, including the production of coal mine safety supervision responsibilities bear some of state organs gross neglect of duty, neglect of management malfeasance, causing frequent accidents are an important factor. The staff member used his position in the license approval or safety regulation, the provincial inspection process, bribery, charging excessive punishment. The current situation is that in Shanxi, "involving coal" aspects of social values into a vicious circle, is not conducive to healthy economic development in our province.To this end, the author investigated since 2003 in Shanxi coal mine safety accidents in misconduct related to corruption were analyzed by studying the problem of corruption at all times relevant research, the characteristics of the coal research, coal field corruption Research value and significance. By the relevant prosecution case and the relevant data to analyze the Shanxi exist involving coal, corruption, and, coal characteristics, system and management and related public officials cause analysis, to put forward relevant prevention mechanisms and strategies in order to curb coal mine safety accidents play a certain reference.
