Political Legitimacy Social Assistance System Research

In the new century, China's economy has made achievements that attracted world's attention after two five-year development, China's GDP has surpassed Japan in the second quarter of 2010, and now china has been the"world's second largest economy". However, the development of the national economy is not equivalent to the national well-being. Between 2005 and 2009, Gallup conducted a survey of country's happiness levels in 155 countries, the test results show that China was in the same level of Ghana, rang in 125. The reason of such phenomenon is largely institutional factors. Remarkable achievements have been made in economic construction, but political system was lagging behind the presentation of the style in China, social assistance is also true. At present, China's aid system remains at the level of the planned economy period, the system can not effectively play its role and can not effectively reflect the aspirations of the people, so it cannot get trust and support from the wider community people, political legitimacy happen inevitably .The first part of this article is focusing on the theory of political legitimacy and the social assistance system architecture. The middle part of the article pays more attention to the main problem of Chinese social assistance and the influence factors. The last part sets forth my views on how to rebuild the legitimacy of China's aid system and the path of reconstruction.
