In a major period of transition which from traditional society to modern society, the Chinese economy, politics, social structure is undergoing tremendous and profound changes. With the development of the differentiation of the economy, values and interests, conflicts between various interest groups and conflicts gradually emerge, and the mass incidents are unavoidable. In how to deal with the elimination of mass incidents on this issue, there are different theoretical perspectives and coping strategies of the conflict. As a result, the Chinese society which is in the pursuit of the development is wandering on the road. In fact, any theory or policy is not a panacea, but in the classical theory and in the face of the plight of Chinese society, we need to clarify the direction of reform and development. In this paper, I want to reveal the content of mass incidents and the occurrence mechanism of mass incidents, discuss the role and impact of the mass incidents in Chinese social change and analyze the relevance between mass incidents and political participation,looking for the means which makes the political participation reality.
