The entry and exit administration is one part of the national administration ,though which the countries administer the leaving and entering of native people and aliens. The entry and exit administration has its unique characters, such as implementing responsibilities by central government, concerning with foreign affairs, function of enforcing the law. With the development and improvement of several decades, the current administration on entry and exit in China has been set up. It plays an important role in safeguarding the state sovereignty, security and benefit, protecting the legitimate right and interests of Chinese citizens and foreigners, promoting the friendly exchanges between China and other countries, striking illegal immigration. But with the acceleration of China's reform and opening to the outside world, lots of conflicts and problems which are incompatible with the current administrative system on entry and exit in China emerged, such as the defect of the immigration laws and regulations, the limitation of the administrative system. The essay's purpose is to analyze the current administration on entry and exit in China and try to find a way to improve it by using the experience of other countries for reference.
