In the process of aging population, as a result of demographic transition as well as the core of the family obvious tendency, single—living elderly people are becoming a larger and larger group. How to meet the daily care needs and spiritual needs of the single—living elderly, is a problem need to deal with. At the level of community service, it is the focus that providing comprehensive living and spiritual care for single—living elderly people so that children could get worry free life and the single—living elderly people could enjoy their life.This article, taking a community in binzhou as an example, analyzed the provision of community care services for single—living elderly people from the perspective of supply. Using Burchardt welfare wheel as an analytical framework, it explored the current community care service delivery of living alone elderly in binzhou city, characteristics and existing problems and the causes. The private supply mode of daily life care and government "single subject" order of community services, were the typical feature of community care services for single—living elderly people in binzhou city. Lack of government investment, administration mostly, hyperplasia of nonprofit organizations, caused problems in community care services for single—living elderly, such as incomplete services, not matched demand and supply, low power of delivery and so on.The paper selected United Kingdom, Australia, Hong Kong and Shanghai as cases for study, analyzed four different kinds of community care service delivery mode in service contents, forms and characteristics, introduced the advanced experiences and practices of community care for single--living elderly in developed countries and regions. On this basis, it proposed to construct the localization of supply mode of community care services for single—living elderly. Construction of native mode, should be based on local economic and social development levels and needs of single—living elderly, according to different types of care using different modes. In a word, it should be a mixed mode of delivery.
