In the process of studying the problem of the Marxist ecological implication, we should require a new study path:the unities of "vertical depth" research and "horizontal expansion " research. Not only it does need to face the Marxist world outlook and deep into its foundation to reveal its ecological implication, but also needs to hold the dialogue among the all kinds of current theories of grasping the real roots of ecological problems.Through vertical depth study, we have seen a world vision generated in the process of human production practice:the objective links between people and nature produced by the activities of material production, and meanwhile produced the objective links between people and people, the two kinds of links influenced each other, then showed a mode of production of specific time. In this kind of mode of production, the relationship between man and nature has been deeply affected by the relationship between human established by this mode of production, the harmony and conflict between man and nature, can be described in this mode of production. Through horizontal expansion study, we defined the underlying causes of ecological problems:whether it is "anthropocentric", "Subject and Object" way of thinking, or science and technology, consumption, can not become the real material root for ecological problems. In the mode of production which characterized by expanded reproduction, the capital expands recklessly led conflicts between man and nature growing. Therefore, it is only to control the capital in this expanded reproduction, the harmony between man and nature can be possible to achieve. Going along the research path which unitied of "vertical depth" research and "horizontal expansion" research, Marxist ecological implication appeared: changing the unreasonable mode of production as the way,for achieving real human freedom and equality, and for the harmony between man and nature.
