Research On The Influence Of Ecological Migration On The Mode Of Production And Life Of Farmers And Herdsmen In Arid Sandy Area

Nowadays, ecological environment problems has been increasingly serious, ecological immigration as an important measure to solve the problem of China’s ecological environment has attracted more and more attention. The implemental effect of ecological immigration is directly related to the protection of ecological environment and sustainable development of immigration. This paper bases on the field investigation of ecological immigration district of Ningxia, adopts the method of qualitative research and quantitative research,on the point of sustainable development, explores the influence of ecological migration on the mode of production and life of farmers and herdsmen, as well as the resulting of social vicissitude and social adaptation. Under the guidance of tutor, the writing of this article has experienced the process of questionnaire design, field investigation, data collection and writing of paper. On the mode of production, which is discussed from the transformation of the mode of agricultural production and the characteristics of the mode of non-agricultural production; on the way of life, which is mainly discussed from changes of consumer lifestyles, living lifestyles and social communication patterns. This paper argues that ecological migration is conducive to improving the living environment of farmers and herdsmen, but, in the process of resettlement, rapid non-agricultural make emigration difficult to adapt to the new mode of production and life, caused more realistic problems. If the land is transfered too early and fastly, it will increases the burden of farmers and herdsmen and affects their sustainable development; the lack of skills training limits the non-agricultural employment of peasant; social division has become increasingly evident in the process of immigration. Aiming at above problems, this paper puts forward some suggestions and countermeasures to improve the mode of production and lifestyle. Expecte the empirical data and theory analysis showed in this paper can enrich the empirical research on the ecological immigration issues, provide the basis for government departments to formulate policies, and provide a reference for other scholars on the research.
