Studies On Community Group Events' Resolution

As China's economic is in an important transitional period, many conflicts become worse due to the changing of the social structure, giving rise to various types of group events. Community group events as the manifestation of intense social conflict, with some destructive, severely affecting the stability of society as well as normal production and our order of life. Therefore, maintaining social stability has become a top priority at all levels of government work. On the other hand, the community as the basic unit of society, played an important role in the lives of the residents. However, due to our late start in community-building, there are still much to be done in the work, so when disposing of various issues, especially in dealing with emergency, it represents a lack of capacity and so on.In this paper, I take the community group events of Y county in Z province for example, in the perspective of dealing with group events of the community to re-examine group events. In the study of relevant literature and theories, I did full of case studies, participated in the investigation and in-depth interviews to study the measures to mass incidents of community. First I described the concepts and some theory of mass incidents and community, then in the basic of analysis the incidents of Y, proposed the special case that government Y and community S have a lack of capacity of dealing with group events. From that, I derive the status quo that our community have a lack of capability of dealing with group events, and thus on this basis, I give an in-depth analysis for the reasons for their lack of capacity. Finally, I propose in the paper that the propositions to cope with group events, such as improving community institution-building, building up the people's petition system and community culture, as well as the reform of household registration system.
