Transition Of Social Resentment: The Phenomenon And Explanations

The key point of this article is that Chinese society is undergoing tremendous changes during the period of social transformation. Our society has multiple dimensions changes, for example, from a traditional society to a modern society, from an agricultural society to an industrial society and from a closed society to an open society. As well as the synchronous occurrence of the move of working centre, the transition of the economic system and the development of political culture, Chinese society has undergone tremendous changes.At the same time, social problems also gradually obvious, such as increased polarization between the rich and the poor, relative deprivation enhances, the corruption of power frequency, the poor survival of worrying, social class is cured, interest expression channels are sluggish.Therefore, a variety of elements interweave together and make the public mind breeds a general resentment. No matter for the network performance on words of criticism, or reality in serious crime, whether for individual acts of resistance, or group events, both in the impact of the national political stability and social harmony. And the establishment of fairness and justice system oriented, broad space for social mobility and the effective channel of interest expression has become the important way to solve the social resentment.This paper describes the concept and characteristics of the social transformation, analysis the resentment of the meaning, characteristics, strength as well as its specific performance of social mentality. This paper also analyzed the phenomena of resentment in social life, including group events, hatred of the rich, hatred of the officer, as well as three manifestations of the resentment, including mental stasis, speech criticism and the action of revenge. This paper focuses on the the formation reasons of resentment during the period of social transformation of our country. It includes three aspects, such as the sense of injustice, powerlessness and the sense of confusion and anxiety. According to the formation reason of resentment, this paper presents the countermeasures of resolving social resentment, namely fairness and justice system oriented, broad space for social mobility and the effective channel of interest expression.The research methods used in this paper are literature data method, comparative analysis method and case study method. Through attention and thinking of hot issues of society and combined with the rich literature and specialized knowledge, the author start research the phenomenon, causes and countermeasures of social resentment.In this paper, the possible innovation is that the research of causes and countermeasures of social resentment has been combined with background of times of social transformation. Although there are some previous studies research on the relationship between social transformation and political cultural or between social transformation and social psychological, but specific to the research on social resentment and social transformation is relatively few.This paper concluded by emphasizing that social resentment resolved fundamentally depends on the public power, only through the establishment of fairness and justice system oriented, broad space for social mobility and the effective channel of interest expression can we find the fundamental way to resolve the social resentment and promote political stability and social harmony.
