The theory of Marxist ideological and political education is an important part of theMarxist theoretical system. It is gradually formed, enriched and developed by the advancedMarxists participating and guiding the proletarian revolutionary movement, meanwhilecombining with the idea from the proletarian masses of the people. It is the theoreticalbasis and ideological weapon of ideological and political education, and is the guidelinesfor the party and nation to develop principles and policies on ideological and politicaleducation. The ideological and political education undertakes the historical mission ofcultivating qualified builders and reliable successors of Chinese characteristic socialism,the efficacy of which directly related to the future stability, development and progress inour country.This paper is based on researching and learning from other theorists' researchachievement on the ideological and political education, then according to the Marxismtheory as the guiding ideology, combining with the practice of ideological and politicaleducation in Xinjiang region and adhering to the view of the combination of the theory andpractice in order to mainly focus on four aspects in the study of Marxist ideological andpolitical education in Xinjiang region, which helps do something useful experiment andfurther exploration not only on the effectiveness and pertinence of the ideological andpolitical education, but also on development of education reform in Xinjiang region.First of all, the paper dates back to the history of the theory of indoctrination in termsof Marxist to illustrate that is a developed theory. Marx and Engels made a preliminaryformulation on the theory of indoctrination, and Lenin made a significant contribution tothe continuation and development of the indoctrination theory, at the same time instills thetheory point of view.The second part studies the paper dates back to the history of the theory of eradicationin terms of Marxist to illustrate that is a developed theory. Marx and Engels made apreliminary formulation on the theory of eradication, and Comrade Mao made a grandachievement on eradication theory. And described the main ideas of the eradication theory,Marxist indoctrination and eradication the significance of the theory The third part shows the research on the relationship of the indoctrination anderadication theory. Indoctrination and eradication theory is the object of education, arereflected in the ideological and political education process of a method, both consistent,and from the point of view of ideological and political education, the two dialectical unityand ideological the field of three aspects of the relationship between the two theory, alsodescribed to the theory of indoctrination and eradication effects in the ideological andpolitical education.Finally, it analyzes the problem and countermeasures of the indoctrination anderadication theory in the practice of ideological and political education inXinjiang.Discusses the status of indoctrination and eradication theory in the practice of theXinjiang ideological and political education, pointing out that indoctrination anderadication theory exists in Xinjiang ideological and political education practiceunderstanding of the indoctrination and eradication theory is not in place, Marxismindoctrination and eradication theory in the theoretical study of very weak, to explore howto improve the methods of indoctrination and eradication problems and their causes areanalyzed.It puts forward the countermeasures improving indoctrination and eradicationtheory in the application of ideological and political education in Xinjiang.
