At present, China is in the crucial stage of transform of society. With the deep-going economic system reform, profound changes of society structure, deep adjustment of interest pattern, incisive variation of concept, all kinds of national problems and conflicts is coming out, which makes it important and necessary for the national community, the micro-level unit of society, to help our party and government ease national contradictions, resolve national problems, construct the harmonious national relations. Researches on national community work are very important for the construction of harmonious national relations in our country. Currently, a series of achievement has been got in researches on national community work, which is instructional in the practice of national community work. However, compared with common communities, there is nationality and cultural diversity in national community, so the achievement of researches on community is not very suitable for the national community work, as a result, the research related to national community work and the construction of harmonious national relations has major and immediate significance.With the implementation of Western Development and2010Xinjiang Convention, rapid progress has been made in national community work in Changji city in Xinjiang, the national relationship of equality, solidarity, mutual assistance and harmony has been consolidated, meanwhile, we should learn that national community work need to be improved so as to realize the great-leap-forward development and long-term stability in Xinjiang. In this article, national community work in Changji city is taken as an example to discuss the relationship between national community work and construction of harmonious national relations, then countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to.The dissertation is composed of introduction,text and epilogue.
