With the further development of new curriculum reform, exam-centered education and quality education is starting to join together. And quality education gets more attention from people for its unique advantages. Basic education reform is booming and its scope and depth are unmatched in education history. Class teaching is the center of the reform. In the process of class teaching, ineffective and low-effective teaching are the challenges to be solved. Therefore, it is very instructive to build effective class teaching. Effective teaching means, under the condition of students factors, teachers make students perform as well as possible with minimum time, vigor and material input, in order to make reach the social and personal value requirements.This article, taking the class teaching behavior of middle school chemistry as the cut-in point, studies the issue of effective teaching of middle school chemistry, mainly about teaching effectiveness and effective class.The first part introduces the basic concept of effectiveness and teaching effectiveness, which exactly defines the teaching effectiveness and its significance, which is different from the general meaning of effectiveness, further analyzes and demarcates the characteristics of teaching effectiveness, provides suggestions about teaching effectiveness according to the features of middle school chemistry and middle school students age and psychology.The second part introduces the concept of effective class, which investigates the middle school students attitude about the teaching reform through questionnaire, puts forward the disadvantages of low-effective teaching and ineffective teaching by analyzing the current situation of middle school chemistry class teaching and the necessity to build effective class.The third part mainly introduces the basic principle of effective class, which explains the unique ideas about building effective class and analyzes the effectiveness and low-effectiveness by case analysis.The forth part mainly introduces the research on the effective class teaching steps,which puts forward the unique ideas about the basic ways and the operating models of building the quality education class, sufficiently proves the necessity and advantage of carrying out the effective class in teaching steps.Immaturity and inaccuracy may exist in this article for the limitation on time, investigation scope, information bank and personal capacity. Defect may be found in later practice and better result may come from.
