| Quality education has been put forward for nearly 20 years.During the period,the reform of education develops by many ways,such as continuously exploring and trying,creating and practicing,bringing up hypothesis boldly while proving it conscientiously and carefully.And the aim of educational reform is to make the educatees,especially those who are in the stage of compulsory education,improve the comprehensive quality and ability.As a result,the measures of quality education are bold and decisive and the results are obvious and successful in those better economic regions,which have open-minded and opening up ideas and change the traditional exam-oriented education into promoting quality education in an all-round way.But like the decree permeates,a policy,belonging to the remote areas at the grass-roots level,is not always able to remain the original principles and effects.If school education in remote rural areas wants to walk out the predicament,it is like the students who come from poor families struggling for their results of the examination.Thus,the traditional exam-oriented education is still prevailing.In addition,rural schools have no abilities or conditions to complete large areas of the implementation of quality education.In this case,the traditional major subject(subjects for exams)education is difficult to change,let alone art education that is a minor subject.So the art class is difficult to be carried out formally,normally,correctly and effectively.What’s worse,the fine art teaching material content of junior high school is wide and the need for art materials and tools is increasing year by year.That is more difficult for arts teaching of rural schools.Because the conditions of students’ families are very poor in general and the traditional ideas influence the rural students.And for a long time the rural school education pays so less attention to the cultivation of students that the art lessons can not be carried out and the students do not value them.If things go on like this,the art lessons will exit completely in name only.However,it is more necessary for rural school children to improve a variety of quality and ability.And rural schools also have more responsibilities and obligations to lay a foundation for the lifelong development of children and make a long term consideration.That shows practical and humanistic education in the educational reform of rural children has more profound significance.In lack of materials and tools,fettered by traditional ideas,there are some problems to be solved.For example,how to stimulate students’ interest in art class,how to enrich rural junior high school fine arts class content,how to consider the students’ practical difficulties indeed and to maximize the fine arts classroom effective teaching.They have become the biggest primary trouble in fine arts education of rural middle school.How to deal with them is the first priority at present.Over a few years of exploring and practicing,I have found the key point,which is to design and draw various patterns of facial make-ups for Beijing Opera.In this way,the students will find something fresh and new and the method proves to be feasible and effective in rural school fine arts lessons by constantly trying,correcting,being innovative,summarizing and improving.The method can stimulate students’ interest in learning and make a good impression instead of stereotype towards art lessons.Art lessons about facial make-ups for Beijing Opera are orderly,effective and will not become formalistic in order to improve students’ quality and ability through combing humanities with practice indeed. |
