English is an important and international language. However, with the universality of school choosing and some other reasons, most of classes have the serious differentiation of high-achievers and low-achievers. It makes the existing of low-achievers become a common phenomenon. Whether transforming low-achievers successfully or not is the key section for realizing education for all-around development. This thesis is to investigate and study the motivational factors influencing low-achievers; constitute the effective strategies that stimulate English low-achievers'motivation in senior high; Blaze their English learning activity and improve their achievements.In this essay, the author starts with English learning motivation's definition, function, types and other related factors, and studying and analyzing low-achievers'definition and characteristics. So the author educe the reason for low-achievers'lacking of English learning motivation. That is:there are still some problems exist in high school English teaching.The author conducted a case study among the 70 students with learning difficulty in DaWa senior high school. The questionnaire consists of two parts:one is bout the main types and characteristics of English low-achievers. The second part is about the factors that influence their motivations of learning English.According to the analyzing of inquisitional result and the interview with some students, the author makes clear English mow-achievers'primary types and characteristics, their needs in the English learning process, attribution of their failure in English learning, enactment of their aims and mediation role of teachers. And put forward several strategies for stimulating English low-achievers learning motivation and corresponding suggestions. That is carrying through learning objective's education, cultivating low-achievers'amour-propre, transfer their learning motivation, fostering the low-achievers'learning autonomy, teaching them effective learning strategies and transferring English low-achievers'attribution methods,...
