| Social linguists have expressed linguistic interaction as a collaborative activity, which involves the establishment of a triangle relationship among the sender, the content and the receiver, and the collaborative activity includes language exchange and text exchange. The goal of the English class is to develop the listening, speaking, reading, and writing and communication skills. English class should be student-centered. Although there has been numerous researches discussing the Interactive Teaching, there is not much discussion about how the Interactive Teaching should be carried out in vocational schools.This thesis tries to discuss the characteristics of the Interactive Teaching in vocational school settings and discuss how to stimulate the learners learning interest by Interactive Teaching in class.105 students from 2 classes taught by different English teachers in Baogang NO.6 Vocational School participate in the survey and data were collected. Scientific analysis and detailed comparison were made.The research result shows that there exists obvious difference between the two groups of students. The investigation data have revealed that in the vocational English class, Interactive Teaching could help students develop good communication skills, enable them to use and understand English language more independently and more effectively, inspire their passion to learn the English language and improve their academic achievements. This thesis obtains the conclusion that using the Interactive Teaching is scientific teaching approach in the vocational English class. |
