Content: Martial arts movement originated in China, has a long history in China, is the excellent traditional national sport, it is based on traditional culture, inherits the five thousand years of Chinese culture, has the strong ethnic characteristics and Oriental culture connotation. Martial arts is a set of boxing, qigong, light achievement for the integration of traditional sports, with competitive and fitness value, especially for cultivating moral character plays a very important role. Martial arts content various in form, both means forceful boxing, and have with static braking with softness of learners. The characteristics of martial arts have series, and defending to disease fitness, the effect of help lengthen people's lives. With the development of society, the human progress, martial arts movements have headed to the broad masses of the people, by the love of the masses. In today's society, martial arts movement has entered the school teaching practice, martial arts school as a basic content of P.E., martial arts sport is to spread and develop Chinese excellent traditional culture in an effective way. Martial arts in schools in implementing quality education for all-round development and cultivation of students' plays a very important role. However, the existence of numerous factors seriously restrain the development of martial arts teaching school, the development of martial arts schools to optimistic. Through the martial arts teaching plan is implemented in dalian city primary investigation of the present situation of martial arts teaching research found situation of dalian elementary school is not ideal, most schools exist martial arts class teachers scarce, weak, teaching methods, teaching material contents old unreasonable, location equipment shortages and the problems of martial arts.
