The new standard of history curriculum stipulates that, the middle school history curriculum is "a basic curriculum to promote the students' all-around development",is "a basic curriculum of national quality education". So, our high school history teaching should work hard in this direction, and between this, historical materials play a very important role. It is the prerequisite and basis for us to understanding history and teaching history, otherwise, there is no sense of history at all in history class, elicit some conclusions or ideas like magic in general, we can't know where the process completely. In this paper, I use historical materials as a starting point, from the analysis of historical materials in the selection of high school history textbooks and the situation of use of teaching in historical perspective, trying to summarize the existing problems and propose solutions. This paper will discuss four aspects as follows:Part one, introduces the concept of historical materials and classification briefly, and discusses the theoretical basis of historical data in the teaching of history. It delimits the scope of the discussion later, but also provides a basis for the related analysis and arguments.Part two, is one of the major parts of this paper, mainly through the way of comparison of the old and new textbooks (PEP), to analyze and summarize the problems of high school history textbooks (NSEFC OF PEP) in the historical materials selection. Including the lack of historical materials on the number of choices, the monotone of selecting the types of historical materials, the problem of norms of historical materials reference, and the unsatisfactory of historical materials presentation, all of these are in order to lay the foundation for the solution later.Part three, is the other major parts of this paper, mainly through the way of interviewing with teachers and questionnaire survey of students, to see the situation of history teaching in the use of historical data and its problems in high school. Including the lack of historical understanding, the real attitude towards historical is not correct, also there are many problems in the use of historical materials and so on, which also lay the foundation for the solution later.Part four, is the conclusion of this paper, aim at the issues that raised in the second and third parts give the relevant solutions, hoping to play a reference and introspection role, for the realization of the history of education reform to make some pygmy effort.
