Historical materials are the basis of historical research,also an important part of history instructional design for senior high school."Source Analysis" comes to priority occurred with new history curriculum standard implementation and unified textbook popularity.Together with historical material research,historical material selection turns to be increasingly prominent when instructional design was made.Academic used to support front-line teaching by granting discussion on historical materials for senior high school instructional design.However,there are few achievements in research of historical materials teaching design from the new curriculum standard,new teaching materials and new literacy,which contradicts the methodology and paradigm needs of front-line teachers for historical materials teaching design during the initial use of new teaching materials.Therefore,taking Outline of Chinese and Foreign History as an example,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to discuss the selection and study of historical materials in senior high school instructional design.The study of historical materials is the central link of instructional design,and the selection of historical materials is the preparatory work for the study.Observed by pedagogy,history and core literacy theory,the selection of historical materials is related to the study of historical materials,which profoundly affects the effectiveness of history teaching.Through student questionnaires,teacher interviews and classroom observation,this paper investigates the design and implementation status of historical data selection and study in senior high school history teaching.We find that there are some problems in historical data teaching,such as fragmentation of selection content,simplification of types,misalignment,failure and loss of degree,deviation of study activities from the main line,aimlessness,offside of teachers and boring form.By analyzing the causes of these problems,we have drawn up three principles for the selection of historical materials,namely,the principle of scientific content,the principle of diversified types and the principle of moderate quantity and proportional coordination.At the same time,four strategies are drawn up for the study of historical materials: rooting teaching materials and strengthening the effective connection of historical materials study;Based on students,optimize the way of studying historical materials;Innovate the classroom and activate the atmosphere of historical materials study activities;Targeted training to improve students' literacy of studying historical materials.Theory needs to be inspected by practice.We selected four problematic instructional design cases from Outline of Chinese and Foreign History and transformed them into new cases by using the proposed principles and strategies.Comparing new cases with the old and analyzing the effect of teaching implementation,effectiveness of the proposed principles and strategies in teaching design was revealed.Also the methodology behind them and the design paradigm displayed by teaching cases could be used as a reference for teaching.
