On The Relationship Between Internet Addition Of The Middle School Students And The Education Method Of Their Parents

Internet Addiction is an internet action which causes obvious social, psychological and physiological damage due to excessive of internet (usually not related to study and work). In the Internet era, the relationship between middle school students and Internet is closer and closer. It is natural and historical trend to use network as well as is helpful for learning, too. However, excessive and adverse usage of the internet also result in a number of bad behavior to middle-school students, even Internet addiction. It does harm to middle school students themselves and society as well as it also does bad harm to family so that it is the most concerned topic by parents. Family is the first school for middle school students and parents are the first teacher. It can't be concluded that there is no a little bit relation between parents education and middle school student internet addiction.In previous times, the study object of internet addiction is college students instead of middle school students. There is no much study on middle school students and the relationship between internet addition of the middle school students and the education of their parents. Based on the family aspect, this paper studies the grade one to grade three middle school students of Yang Shuo county, Gui Lin city. Questionnaires are used to study the relationship between internet addition of the middle school students and the education method of their parents. The purpose is to check whether it is related between the internet addition rate, family environment and the parents education so that the prevention strategy and intervention measures are forwarded for the reference of parents. The results show that The middle school student internet addition rate is high and the girls addiction rates is higher than boys; The internet addition rate of grade 3 students is the highest;The internet addition rate of the single born child, single-parent families and student who can't live with their parents long time are higher than the non-single born child, parents family and student who can live with their parents long time; The internet addition rate of the students with higher educated parents is higher than those with lower educated parents; There is relation between the middle school students internet addition and the dictated parents education.According to the above results, the author thinks that the middle school student internet rate is high, compared with information reported at domestic and abroad. It should be paid high attention by parents. In addition, family environment is an important factor for internet addiction of the middle school students. The education method of the dictated parents is the important reason for internet addiction of the middle school students. Therefore, this paper puts forward suggestion to the parents:parents should take "prevention, prevention &treatment combination" approach to help middle school students prevent and treat internet addiction. The detailed method is that first the parents should make a good understand of internet so as to effectively guide the internet behavior of their child. For parents who has no knowledge or is busy with their business and can't guide the child for internet behavior, it is suggested that they can judge whether their child is correctly using internet based on five kind of information such as excessive fatigue, academic problems, no interest on other hobbies, desertion to friends and disobey as well as abnormal behavior so that intervention could be given. Secondly, make good family atmosphere especially good husband and wife relationship so as to provide a complete family to child. Make good use of available condition to improve parents themselves; try best to live with child to avoid the lack of education to child and give the child emotional support and care; try best to make it as far as possible to let children live in a healthy and harmonious family. Finally, think over their education method and push myself to communicate in a democratic, equal way so as that the child is willing to communicate. Give child in an selfless way and let the child know return; educate children to grow in a harmonic health physiology, good psychology, and excellent moral qualities; don't evaluate child with scores and focus child more on their interest,perseverance,diligence and personality in order that the child will become a thanksgiving and good self control people so as to the child can't be confused by the network easily and prevent the internet addition from the source, helping child return to their normal study and life.
