Along with the popularization of Internet in China, young people have been the firstmajor user group. When the young are in the full enjoyment of the convenience and pleasurebrought by the network, their physical and mental health also bear the negative effects ofnetwork. Many teenagers fall in network addiction, which seriously affect their living, learning and physical and phycological health. The causes of Juvenile Internet addiction lie in many aspects, which is a result of avariety of factors. First of all, the network is indirect. Its reality and concealment can enableyoung people to choose the contact object freely and speak their mind freely on the Internet. Not seeing each other during their communication can make young people display theirintrinsic quality and sense of accomplishment more fully. Secondly, teenagers are inadolescence. They are not mature and curious about new things. They are thirsty forknowledge, willing to communicate and eager for success. However, the real life brings themnothing but the frustration and failure, which may drive the young to go to find comfort in thevirtual world of network. In addition, most parents lack in the sound and scientific educationideas, methods and knowledge. Also the relevant legal system as well as the networkmanagement rules are far from perfect. So all the factors listed above can not be ignored if wedo want to diminish Internet addiction. In order to win the battle against Internet addiction, we should take the "Prevention first, combining prevention with control" approach and call on all sectors of society to cooperatewith each other. We must take measures to minimize the negative impact of Internet addictionas much as possible and to help the young generation get out of trouble and go back to thenormal life. We should try to create a more healthy society for young people, making theworld a better place for the youth to live, to learn and to grow up.
