Comprehensive Universities In Jiangsu Province Sports Professional Swimming Survey Of Teaching And Countermeasures

In this manuscript, the education of swim compulsory courses for physical students in universities of Jiangsu province was investigated on the basic theory of pedagogy and Physical Education. The education conditions, education methods, educational content and education evaluation were analyzed with the theory of selection material, document date, interview, living visit, questionnaire investigation, math analysis, logic analysis and some other methods. The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:1, The compulsory courses of swimming for physical students in universities of Jiangsu province are not very popular. The set up of the swimming lesson in 5 universities are stable and unstable in 1 university due to the limitation of teaching staff and venue. Another two universities haven't set up the course yet.2, The teachers of compulsory swimming courses for physical students in universities of Jiangsu province have a reasonable age distribution, and they are good at teaching swimming referee knowledge and swimming training. However, the teacher's academic qualification, the overall level of research ability, expressive skills and the teaching method are still need to be improved.3, The students of universities of Jiangsu province majored in physical training take keen interests in swimming lesson. They possess clear defined target and serious attitude. Also, there is a large number of students who take the swimming class. However, because of the deficiency of space, teaching staff and etc, students don't have a good command of swimming skills and knowledge.4, The swimming compulsory courses for physical students in universities of Jiangsu province adopt the class teaching form. Apart from a moderate number of students who take the swimming lesson in Nanjing Normal University, other high schools all have excessive students who choose the lesson. Teachers prefer to employing regular teaching method rather than modern teaching method in teaching process.5, Only two of the universities of Jiangsu province have qualified site facilities which meet the needs of swimming teaching. Another four high schools still remain insufficiency in the site facilities and assisted teaching aids.6,The education evaluation of swim compulsory courses for physical students in universities of Jiangsu province is carried out through diagnostic assessment, formative assessment and summative evaluation. The survey discovered that students'academic record usually based on the principle of summative evaluation. By contrast, rational utilization of diagnostic assessment and formative assessment were wanting.7,Due to a limiting of space constraints and other facilities, the students have not enough time to review and consolidate knowledge that learned in the classroom after school time, which lead to students are not good at swimming technique.8,The major factors on affectting the quality of The swimming lesson in professional sports of jiangsu comprehensive university is the site equipment,class hours,the number of students in class,the organization of teaching content,the school leadership's emphasis,the basic and interesting of students and so on.Meanwhile,according to the above results,we proposed some stategys:The first,school leaders should provide more funding on the construction of swimming facilities; The second,we should introduction more and more swimming and training teachers; The third,we should strengthen the teaching practice and the students'ability of comprehensive; Article,develop and use modern means and methods of teaching; Next,using the methods of scientific evaluation; Optimize the contents of swimming teaching PE; The last,strengthen the organization and management on construction of swimming club.
