Pupils Network Media Literacy Training Research

As the development of Internet brings convenience to our lives, it also affects our way of life and values.The network itself is just a new kind of Information dissemination tool, and there is no good or bad, but when it is associated with human activities, it turns out to be positive or negative.So the network plays a role of "double-edged sword".It is important for the primary school students to learn how to understand the functions and features of Internet correctly and treat the content of network critically.Beside that, the students must learn how to use Internet to develop themselves.All of the three sections have made up the main content of the "Network Literacy Education".This present dissertation analyzed the function of network and the traits of primary school students in order to find the importance of network literacy training, in which way we can develop students'media literacy.Through the research, primary students'network literacy is not good, and lots of problems of related education have been found, such as not paying much attention to the problem, exaggerating negative impacts of network, ignoring the needs and motivation of primary school students and so on.Based on a lot of original texts, dictionaries, essays and experiments, this paper uses the theory of the"Beyond Protectionism"for reference to improve the"Media Education"in primary school.According to the teaching practice, specific training strategies are proposed and testified in a series of experiments in this paper.This paper diagnosed the actual "Network Literacy Education" with interviewing method and action researching method.The conclusion indicates that using the "Beyond Protectionism Theory"for reference to improve the "Network Literacy" in primary school is available. The new "Network Education" is efficiency in improving the ability of dealing with the internet and understanding the network information critically for high school students. And then they can use the media to develop themselves, and that would ultimately advance the "Media Literacy"of them.
