With the advent of the Internet age, modern educational technology with computers and the Internet as the main indicator is to be more and more extensive use in language teaching. Along with applications and development of educational technology, language teaching content, teaching objectives, teaching methods, teaching strategies, teaching models is undergoing profound changes. In order to achieve this change, the key lies in training students' language information literacy.In this paper, through the use of literature research, investigation and so on, the author firstly discusses opportunities and challenges brought to language teaching by the network era, as well as strategies how to face this challenge. Then author discusses the concept of information literacy and its development, as well as composition of concept and content of information literacy under network environment. At the same time taking two provincial-level demonstration schools of modern educational technology as an example, this paper analyzes training status of the current students' language information literacy and some existing problems. Next the paper clarifies the basic theory of training students' language information literacy, general principles and the each condition. Finally the author discusses in depth the two major contents of language information literacy - language information awareness and language information capacity training.In this paper, with the advent of the Internet age, language teaching has shown some cultural characteristic which is different from the past, network brings about not only some opportunities but also considerable challenges to language teaching in secondary schools. And the strategy to meet this challenge is to train the students' language information literacy. Secondary school students should have a certain level of language information literacy, which is the key of achieving the objectives of the curriculum reform, changing language learning style, improving language learning efficiency and ultimately learning languages for life. To train Language information literacy is a path to integrate modern educational technology and language teaching for the purpose of serving language teaching. Therefore, when students have a certain amount of information and knowledge as the basis, students' language information literacy are divided into language information awareness, language information ability and language information moral. They also put forward content and objective of cultivating students' language information awareness, information ability and information moral and make an analysis of training environment and general principles of language information literacy, which should be in close connection with language teaching and serve language teaching; to enhance integration with technology curriculum; to take students as the main body and mainly train students' operation ability ;with importance on the exchanges between the students, cooperation and exploration , to just develop students' language information literacy, improve their ability to use and learn language and finally achieve the goal of improving language teaching Effect.In this paper, the innovation is: setting out from improving students' ability to use and learn language and regard training of the students' information literacy as one of the objectives of language teaching, the students' good language information literacy as an important component part of language learning ability. And put forward the specific implementation measures of developing students' language information literacy.
