Into the twenty-first century, China has joined unstoppable economic globalization, the wave of knowledge and information. China is facing more and more opportunities and challenges from home and abroad. The more exchange between China and the rest of the world of political, economic and culture, the more require of people who can speak foreign language fluently is needed. To master a foreign language (mainly English) is one important quality of active integration into the international exchange for the qualified personnel at present and in future society. However, the towering building from the ground, good or bad based on junior secondary English, play a crucial role of learning English in the future. But the junior school students in their English learning process has shown widespread polarization and differentiation in an increasingly early age and an increasing proportion. The underachievers in English learning is becoming an outstanding problem during the process of the quality education. Therefore it is particularly important to help and transform the underachievers in English learning.In this thesis, the underachievers in English learning in junior school are chosen as the object of study, for junior school students in English learning difficulties were attributed to analysis, the use of educational administration, education, psychological research on theory, proposed the "Poor Students" into the Principles, and from the perspective of a more novel-"written talk Job" for the conversion of specific practice. "Written talk Job", the main content and features include:1. Eliminating confusion 2. Evaluation of incentive 3. To consolidate knowledge. Early in the study, the author studies the use of our existing education laws and regulations, the results of many educational experts and scholars on the underachievers. At first, the author gets the the overall situation relevant to the 8th grade English underachievers, using a questionnaire, interview and classroom observation. The author gets to know their learning attitude, interests, learning ability, etc. After the situation analysis, the author then selects an individual student to begin further study, carries out a Written Talk Job action research. By comparing before and after study analysis, the author draws the following conclusions:"written talk Job" to maintain the English underachievers interest in learning has a positive effect, helps to consolidate knowledge and improves problem-solving skills, "Written talk Job" helps build a harmonious, democratic channels of communication to help teachers and students to reflect on the teaching process and effect. that benefits teachers as well as students. But the transformation of the underachievers will be a very slow and long process. For the conclusion of the study, the author proposes a personal view of English teaching.In this thesis, there are still many problems, I will have a follow-up study to make a improvement.
