Objective:To explore the psychosomatic status and related factors of bullied students in two Shandong junior high schools.Methods:A total of 1061 students were assessed with Bully/victim Questionnaire,工团Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS), Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), Eysench Personality Questionnaire (EPQ) and Family Environment Scale (FES). All the data were analyzed with SPSS. The analysis methods included chi-squre test, t-test, correlation analysis and multiple stepwise regression analysis.Results:The detection rate of bullying in junior high school students was 16.40%, and the detection rate for male (19.64%) was significant higher than that for female (12.77%). The detection rate among the grades was different significantly (P<0.001). The detection rate was more higher in those group with poor self-care ability, poor physical condition, loose management, class atmosphere being poor (P<0.05).The anxiety scores of the victims was 46.93±8.84, and the detection rate of anxiety was 32.18%. Both of them were higher than those of students not involved in bulling behavior, and the difference was significant (P<0.05). The depression scores of the victims was 55.09±9.45, and the detection rate of depression was 17.81%. Both of them were higher than those of students not involved in bulling behavior, and the difference was also significant (P<0.05). The PSQI scores of the victims was 5.84±2.50, and the detection rate of sleep disorders was 36.78%. Both of them were higher than those of students not involved in bulling behavior, and the difference was significant (P<0.05).The factors related to anxiety of the victims were cohesion and conflict factors of FES. studying environment, the severity of being bullied, relationship bullying, by physical bullying, seeking help after being bullied, physical health status, E and N factors of EPQ (P<0.05).The factors related to depression of the victims were cohesion and conflict factors of FES, single-parent or foster families, the severity of being bullied, relationship bullying, other people's concern about bullying, P factors of EPQ (P<0.05).The factors related to sleep quality of the victims were moral-religious belief, not living with mother, single-parent or foster families, the severity of bullying, seeking help after being bullied, interesting in Internet or TV, N factor of EPQ (P<0.05).Conclusion:1. Bullying behavior is popular in junior high school in Shandong province, and its annual rate is as high as 16.40%.2. The victims have severe anxiety, depression and sleep disorders. Bullying behavior severely affect the psychosomatic status of junior high school students being bullied.3. The risk factors affecting their physical and mental health include the severity of bullying, family environment, personality and other factors.
