The Research Of General Physical Education's Effect And Status In The Process Of Urbanization

The Sixteenth National Congress put forward taking the road of urbanization with Chinese characteristics for the first time. On 5th, Dec, 2009, the Central Economic Working Conference explicit to carry out the process of urbanization, enhance the quality and level of urban development. Studies show that there is intrinsical link between the economic base and superstructure, the reform of superstructure must be suitable for the character and law of economic base. The economic base decide the generation, character and way of superstructure. The adverse effect of superstructure give service to the character and requirement of economic base. The law determines the reform of superstructure, and the layout and direction of reform. General Physical Education is a social and cultural phenomenon. There is closed relation between its emergence and Political economy. The development of General Physical Education reflect country's strong and rich, and its economy as the basis for social harmony as the premise, based on certain economic and political environment and material basis.Through questionnaires and interviews, the author inquiry General Physical Education's status in new development area of Nanchang, and research its function by political, economic and cultural theory. The results showed that the development of General Physical Education and economic development are closely linked, it is not only physical health, but also giving people the spirit of culture; not only providing financial support to countries, but also nurtures the national economy.At present, the development of General Physical Education is affected by local economical structure. Its facilities isn't placed into the urban construction plan, so there is unreasonable layout. Its financial inputs are not included in the budget, so there is inadequate investment in hardware and inperfect facilities. It can not meet the needs of the residents' fitness. Its propagate is not enough, residents's sense in physical fitness is weak. Government's organization and management is not in place to General Physical Education , the implementation of mass sports activities and other issues is not normal. It also puts forward: the mass sports should be into the urban construction plan to make its layout scientific and rational. The community into the sport for performance evaluation system development, dministrative functions at all levels to implement effective aministrative intervention, to the general public Sports normalization; in community sports place a science exercise counseling, station, improve residents science fitness level; sports administration bodies use holidays organized mass Fun Games to inspire people to participate in physical activity initiatives; strengthen the Citizens for Fitness Awareness, promote the orderly development of mass sports science; increased funding for public investment in sports, driving sports consumption and so on.
