With the first commercial fitness club of Chain Store Operation——Ma Hua fitness club formed in Beijing in the last 90s century, there is an upsurge in keeping fit in china. People's awareness of fitness has been increased remarkably, the conception about health has been gradually built up, the ratio of the fitness consumption in daily life has been gradually increased, and the idea of"Spend money to gain health"has gradually been the fashion of modern life. After entry into the new period, bathing the spring wind of all-round development of our motherland economy, especially under the environment of the fitness sense of citizens promoted greatly by the successful holding of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, the development of Beijing commercial fitness clubs also enter their own fast lane: the quantity of clubs has been drastically increased, the quality of service has been gradually improved , and the perspective of service has been continuously enlarged to every part of Beijing, which indeed realize"fitness is in every community, fitness goes into every family". However, Beijing commercial fitness clubs have still been in the infancy, not been in a mature trade. There are still some limitations which need further perfection in all aspects of the development of clubs.By the method of documentation, questionnaire,Delphi technique,interview and mathematical statistics, the author investigates body builders, coaches, and managers of part commercial fitness clubs in Beijing , analyzes the statistical data, contrasts research of forefathers and finds that there are some problems in the development of Beijing commercial fitness clubs, such as the inaccurate location of clubs, the blind input of capital, the single marketing means, the serious homogeneous service projects, the lack of creation, and no guarantee for the coach training , etc.This paper comprehensively evaluates the problems appeared in Beijing part commercial fitness clubs during the present period, and the following countermeasure can be reached: firstly, improve the macro-management of Beijing commercial fitness clubs. Specifically, enhance the understanding of the importance of the commercial fitness clubs, strengthen the macro-management of the fitness market; establish the industry association, strengthen the communication among the fitness clubs. Secondly, make great efforts to improve the micro-management, Such as, strengthen the human resource management, heighten the professional skill of the managers and coaches, base ourselves on the qualifications, highlight management feature, strengthen internal management, widen service projects, improve the service quality, and properly combine marketing strategies and so on.
