Extracurricular reading is an important part of language learning, and is the extension and development of reading in class. Students' learning Chinese, instead of relying on merely language teaching material and language lessons, must rely on a lot of extracurricular reading. Meanwhile, extracurricular reading is the important way to develop students'intellectual level. Students'intelligence development depends on the students'reading ability. So the way to change the students clever is to read not to make up missed lesson and increase homework. Reading ability is one of the basic quality. Cultivating the students'reading ability is to make the students'with the ability of lifelong learning to adapt to the need's of the development of the times.This paper researches the status now of 13 elementary schools students'extracurricular reading in luyuan zone of Changchun, which discovered the problems and development advantage. On this basis, the paper mainly discussed the strategies and measures of average elementary school effectively develop extracurrilament. So it takes an example of leifeng school to research.The article content is made up of four parts. The first part discussed the significance and purpose of the subject research and research status at home and abroad and research contents and methods.The second part analyzs the extracurricular reading in luyuan zone school and takes the luyuan zone school for example. Though the study situation in luyuan zone and research of extracurricular, we find the reading problems, for example, autonomy is not strong, reading quanlity is insufficient, reading content selection is undeserved, lack of perfect evaluation system and so on. On the analysis of disadvantages, it expounds the relative advantage of reading environment and reading time. Finally the cause of problems are analyzed systematicly.To the third part, principles description through the following purpose and graduation and instead of the opening extracurricular reading, which puts forward the measures of exam reading according to the schools, teachers, classes overall, finds extracurricular reading strategies of effectively of primary school. The case can demonstrate it. The last part is to research specific training steps and practical effects of opening exam reading for primary students and to explore the practical road of extracurricular reading in Chinese for primary students. This paper puts forward the each grade section's specific and cultivating key, such as junior section interest guidance, elementary school section habits cultivation, the reading literacy combination of senior segment, and summarized the reading practice effect. Extracurricular reading is helpful to the improvement of students'comprehension and understanding.The creativity in the paper puts forward the cultivating steps of stages reading type in extracurricular reading for primary students. Take leifeng school for example, creativity yielded results, and students'comprehensive accomplishment and Chinese get higher scores.Extracurricular reading gives students more study wide space, and it riches children's knowledge, nourish their hearts, cultivate their horizons. In the course of research, the author deeply feels that three points in class,7mintes in extracurricular. Extracurricular reading makes student's study better.
