The Study Of Assessment Index System On The Society Informatization Of The International Metropolis

The society informatization is not only the core foundation of the information society, but also is the core support of an international metropolis. The level of the society informatization has become an important factor to measure international competitiveness of a country or region. After the strategic goal of building "the world city" has been widely carried out by Beijing, in recent years, Beijing has gone to the new stage of informatization all-round development. According to studying the current evaluation index system, this article makes up for each other's deficiencies to establish a scientific, rational, reliable and practical assessment index system on the society informatization of the international metropolis, which evaluates the gap of information society development between Beijing and the world city. According to the results of analysis, some practical recommendations are given finally. It is not only to promote the development process of the information society in the round, but to improve the capital function and the city quality.First, this paper introduces the research background and significance of thesis, and reviews the research status and deficiencies of the assessment index system on the society informatization at home and abroad.Secondly, after understanding the scientific connotation and main content of the social informatization, it determines the constructing principles and the construction process of assessment index system on the society informatization on the base of the theoretical analysis.Again, according to the principle of the construction of the indicator system, it takes the essence and discards the dregs for existing assessment system. And on second thought, an assessment index system on the society informatization of the international metropolis is finally established, which is consists of 3 primary indexes,8 secondary indexes and 20 third-class indexes. Then it introduces the calculation method of index system.Finally, take Beijing as the example, after collecting a large number of related data, this article evaluates the social informatization development level of Beijing on the base of the calculation method of index system. It makes a comparative study with developed countries, and evaluates the gap of information society development between Beijing and the world city. Some feasible suggestions are given in the last.In conclusion, this paper summarizes the final results of the study, and points out the innovation and inadequate.
