Construction Of The Evaluation Index System For Higher Education Informatization Of Zhejiang Province

Educational Informationization is an important part of national informatization and a symbol of education modernization.Currently, China has put great deal of investment in the educational informationization and has achieved remarkable results in infrastructure; digital resources, standardization and application of information technology. However, there are still some problems. As for the heavy investment in informationization of higher education, Zhejiang Province has its leading position in the country. At the same time, there still are some bottlenecks and problems. The most important problem is the absence of an efficient and objective evaluation system. The primary cause of this situation is that there has been no scientific evaluation index system. Therefore, to build a scientific and reasonable evaluation index system for informatization of higher education is helpful for its further development and it is also benefitial to the higher education modernization of the whole country.Firstly, this research has introduced the background and significance of evaluation index system for informatization of higher education and has explained the definition of related concepts. Some conclusions have been drawn from a comprehensive literature review of index system for informatization of higher education.Then, we have introduced the theories and methods of how to construct the evaluation index system to make our index system well grounded.With the current situation of informationization of higher education and recent development of the evaluation theory, this study has formed an initial evaluation index system. After that, we have used the Delphi method to describe the evaluation criteria and indicators. Many questionnaires and interviews have been taken to gather opinion of experts in this field. Finally, we have constructed the evaluation framework of informationization for higher education in Zhejiang province. The weight of each indicator is determined by AHP and expert ranking law method. Then, a complete evaluation index system was constructed.In order to improve the scientificalness, reasonableness and operability of our evaluation index system, an applied research in XX normal university has been taken out with our index system. According to the analysis of the education results, evaluation object can find out the advantages and shortcomings of their informationization process to make up their own weaknesses for improving the overall level of educational informationalization.
