Yichuan Wushu Association deepens self-construction in order to perfect itself. At the same time, it carries out a large wushu fitness activity centered "to drive forward national fitness, to practice wushu scientifically, to inherit and develop national culture and to strengthen national physical body". According to the specialty of local wushu and the character of the people, the association plans and prepares lot of tournaments meticulously. More and more wushu devotees devote into the study of wushu. It is setting off an upsurge of people's learning wushu. It plays an active part in the widely developing of the national fitness activity. Therefore, according to the relevant requirement, standard and condition of China Wushu Association, Yichun was evaluated as "The Wushu County of China" in December 1992. Then, it becomes a topic that deserves to be discussed and studied that how Yichuan Wushu Association develops its social value before and after achieving this reputation, which is undoubtedly meaningful to help Chinese nation achieve human quality of "The Wushu County of China".Taking Yichuan Wushu Association as the subject, this thesis investigates the current status of Yichuan Wushu Association and the value of popularization and development of wushu by using documentary method, questionnaire method, logical analysis, etc. to summarize and generalize the obvious function and social value of the Association. The conclusions can be drawn as the follows:1. Attaching great importance to the achievement of "The Wushu County of China", the government of Yichun and Yichun Wushu Association invest a great amount of funds to launch Wushu activities; 2. The Wushu Association has established relatively sound management system and comparatively perfect policy and regulation, which promote the development of basic Wushu and enlarge the channel for its communication, to build the regional brand of "The Wushu county" of Yichun; 3. Yichun Wushu Association has enlarged the population of exercising Wushu increases greatly and it has been generalized around the whole city, which makes the health condition of the Wushu exerciser and psychological endurance of the seniors regulate effectively. Meanwhile, it improves the relations among neighbors and promotes harmony, and provides positive security function to human quality of harmonious development of city economy in Yichun; 4. The Association makes great contributions to cultivate the qualified Wushu person by assisting sports committee; 5. Yichun Wushu Association fully develops and utilizes the local Wushu resources to launch national fitness activities, especially the Wushu activities in schools which have achieved outstanding effects.According to the research, this thesis put forwards some corresponding suggestions:1. The right and duty of the Wushu Association should be explicit; 2. The study and arrangement of Wushu theory should be emphasized to create the Wushu skills suited the aesthetics of modern people; in order to the heritage and development of Wushu; 3. The violation should be rectified to regulate the examination and approval of Wushu Hall; 4. The instruction on Wushu group should be enhanced by improving the proficiency of Wushu instructors in society and cultivating high-qualified Wushu coach; 5. Its communication and cooperation with enterprises should be enhanced to be involved into enterprise culture in order to improve cultural quality of the employees, based on which to raise the influence of the Wushu Association; 6. Its cooperation with media, tourism and foreign affair department should be enhanced in that the status of the Wushu Association will be raised further by publicizing and developing it through media; 7. Its communication and cooperation with the Wushu Association of other provinces and cities should be enhanced, so that it can borrow the advanced develop and management model in order to develop the Wushu sports of Yichun to a higher stage.
