In the early 1950s, education choice research has included several factors of the individual education choice theory when an American scholar Milton Freidman advocates education voucher system. However, deep, comprehensive and systematic theory dates back to the 1990s. In China, education choice research is in its initial stage, theoretical research focuses on importing and introducing the relevant education choice theory of Europe and the United States; contrast overseas research to come up with some meaningful enlightenment and reference. But the related empirical research about the minority education choice is limited, the survey about this theme is few. In addition, the research of the Korean minority mainly focuses on the inhabited area; it is lack of the research of the scattered area.This paper selects the Korean minority of junior and senior high school students in Jilin area as the research objects, mainly combines the method of literature, questionnaire, interview with quantitative and qualitative research method to study the current situation and problem of the Korean minority ethnic education, in order to put forward a feasible way. It also provides education administration official valuable reference in making educational decision, and offers school supervisor and teachers reference in school management and teaching.This paper concludes that:1. The Korean minority ethnic education is facing many challenges in scattered area, such as "prefer to go to Han nationality school", "Bilingual dilemma" and so on. When Korean minority students and parents have the educational selection, they get the tendency to imposing education as a society's investment behavior.2. Different social background has the different influence on Korean educational choice in scatter area such as Jilin area and inhabited area such as Yanbian area.3. The work and education experiences of parents play a very important role in children's educational choice.4. Students'family residence and their parents'employment location, are big factors for educational choice in scattered area.5. The number of schools, the teaching quality and environment also influence the educational choice.6. The Korean minority students in Jilin area are bilingual speakers, but the proficiency of their mother tongue and Chinese are not quite good.Therefore, the nurture of ethnic culture education in Jilin area should start from childhood. The local government should adopt measure to promote bilingual teaching and sound development of Korean education. The building of teach faculty should be enforced and the investment of this field should be enlarged. The condition of Korean school should be improved to ensure the development of ethnic education.
